I've travelled many different track, some not so beaten but i've always made it back, i've played to many, i've played to few, a hundred miles to play to no-one and then get stitched up on the fuel. Oportunities have come and gone, i've even sold my soul and qued up all day and oit turns out ive got none, i've learnt the truth and i've learnt it well, that huge amounts of sweat and blood is something they cant sell because, Nobodies singing along, nobody whistles this when they're heading home, no groupies sat back stage whilst you're looking on, i'll never work out why i love it but i guess i'll just keep carrying on. Been many faces in many bands, that's many beer fuelled evening in corners across the land, exhausted every genre known, ran outta mates to be in bands with and now i'm up here on my own. Don't be mistake by my rant, i've made made many amazing memory and most of my best friends, there are stories too often told, and there are some i'm not so proud of and those ones stay out on the road and still, Nobodies singing along, nobody whistles this when they're heading home, no groupies sat back stage whilst you're looking on, i'll never work out why i love it but i guess i'll just keep carrying on. Nobodies singing along, nobody whistles this when they're heading home, no groupies sat back stage whilst you're looking on, i'll never work out why i love it but i'll sure as hell keep carrying on. i'll sure as hell keep carrying on i'll sure as hell keep carrying on i'll sure as hell keep carrying on i'll sure as hell keep carrying on

Run 04:02
What lies between, life here and where you say it should be, they say the grass is always green, when it's been under me that's never what i've seen, there are people taking in my ear, they don't know what i'm doing here, people say what people see, but do they know whats good, i don't know, do i care? If I run away, i'll find the same hole in a different place, i'll sing the same lines in a new way, just sing the same song on a different day, do what you ask but nothing changes, i won't run away A new life doesn't mean, all your problems vanish, thaey all just cease to be a broken soul for all to see, an angry bitter mind reflecting onto me, there are people taking in my ear, they don't know what i'm doing here, people say what people see, but do they know whats good, i don't know, do i care? If I run away, i'll find the same hole in a different place, i'll sing the same lines in a new way, just sing the same song on a different day, do what you ask but nothing changes, i won't run away i won't run away i won't run away i won't run away

you walk into the bar about half past eight, and you know straight away that you've turned up late, because the jukebox blasts out oh soo loud, and nobbys karaoke always draws a crowd, the tenned in tthe pocked won't get me far, but a mates got a tab behind the bar, so its a hen for me and a jack for him, grab a seat in the corner and settle in. Drinking for a lock-in, drinking for a lock-in, drinking for a lock-in, The evening dissapears in the blink of an eye, my oldest dearest friends and i, i blur of talking rubbish all night long, of football politics and song, and then i'm up and rocking out the queen, my very best freddie mercury, and bang on time that old bell rings, grab another round, we're settled in. Drinking for a lock-in, drinking for a lock-in, drinking for a lock-in, Those were the nights to end all nights, we sang along with our drinks held high, Those were the nights to end all nights, those wissey nights When the evenings done and it's time for home, it's back to the palace for the aftershow, where cards are out and the spirits flow, and skinny dye rocks the casie, it's those wisseys nights you dont't wana stop, until there's no more cigarettes and the sun comes up, and so it's time for sleep and time for home, but with a pull out bed, and chocolate kisses, noone sleeps alone. Drinking for a lock-in, drinking for a lock-in, drinking for a lock-in, Those were the nights to end all nights, we sang along with our drinks held high, Those were the nights to end all nights, those wissey nights

Long nights, tired mind left doubting, i'm good enough or if i can, show you, this world and its wonder, give you strength, i'll be a man Bright light, guiding your travel, your rock if you're needing one, we'll be there if you're scared whilst you're dreaming, stay with you til the morning comes, because, if you need somebody, if you're ever alone, you know we'll always the there, and this will always be your home, we'll be there Small hand, gripped onto my finger, held firm, hold on tight, new eyes see the world for the first time, don't be scared, you'll be alright because, if you need somebody, if you're ever alone, you know we'll always the there, and this will always be your home, we'll be there i can't promise you this world is a good place, but i promise you that wherever you go, and whatever you do, there will always be at least two people in this world or the next, who will always love you, with all the strength in their hearts, we will always love you x
